Arrived safely and TXT home

Arrived in East Cape, met with my group, then on to Umtata. I am to be a guest at a tribal ceremony and I am wondering what to wear. Do I have to have special face paint, a hat, scarf or similar? I cannot let family and friends know as there is perhaps only an hour a day electricity and that is not reliable. I am keeping a notebook and making observation. Keep you posted!
